Shashwat Maheshwari is a Mumbai-based stand-up comedian originally from Kanpur who has been on the Indian circuit since 2014. He performs mostly in Hindi, with observational, anecdotal and rant-style sets that lean heavily on small-town stories and surprise punchlines. He has appeared on NDTV's Rising Stars of Comedy, the Bengaluru Comedy Festival and Amazon Prime Video's Comicstaan, and his YouTube special Meri Kismat Kharab Hai crossed a million views shortly after release. Outside stand-up he doubles as the Hindi play-by-play commentator for UFC broadcasts on Sony Sports.
