Sanjay Manaktala is a Bengaluru-based stand-up comedian, writer and engineer who helped seed the modern English-language comedy scene in India after moving from the United States in 2010. A former data and analytics professional, he mines IT life, corporate culture and the awkwardness of being a returning NRI for his conversational, observational sets. He has performed thousands of club, college and corporate shows, runs a long-running YouTube channel of stand-up clips, sketches and vlogs, and tours both in India and overseas.
