Samay Raina is a Mumbai-based stand-up comedian, streamer and creator who co-won the second season of Amazon Prime Video's Comicstaan in 2019. He became one of the most-followed Indian comedy YouTubers during the pandemic by streaming online chess games, helping ignite a wider Indian interest in the sport, and went on to win the Botez Bullet Invitational hosted by Chess.com. In 2024 he launched the anti-talent show India's Got Latent, where comedian-judges roast contestants for laughs; the show generated both massive viewership and a high-profile obscenity FIR. His 2026 stand-up special Still Alive on YouTube became one of the most-watched Indian comedy specials on the platform.
