Sabareesh Narayanan, who performs as Standup Sabari, is a Malayalam stand-up comedian who began his comedy career in 2017 and tours Kerala, Bangalore and the UAE. A co-founder of the Cochin Comedy Project, he made history by releasing what he billed as the first Malayalam stand-up special on YouTube, Truly Malayali, in 2023, racking up millions of views across platforms. He is currently touring his follow-up special Kooduthal Chinthikkanda, built around anxiety, has spoken at TEDx three times and made repeat television appearances on Mazhavil Manorama's Oru Chiri Iru Chiri Bumber Chiri.
