Ramya Ramapriya is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer who moved from a mechanical engineering and corporate background into comedy in 2017, starting out on the Bengaluru circuit. She performs mostly in English with sharp observational sets on everyday life, dating, and the absurdities of urban India. She earned wider recognition through Amazon Prime Video's Comicstaan, where her silent baby-voiceover sketch became a fan favourite, and she has also appeared in Netflix's Guns & Gulaabs and the Stand Up Shorts series. She tours major Indian cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.
