Rajat Sood is a Delhi-born stand-up comedian, poet and writer who calls his hybrid form Pomedy, a mix of stand-up and Hindi-Urdu verse. An engineer-turned-performer, he came to wider attention as the winner of Sony TV's reality show India's Laughter Champion in 2022 and as a finalist on the poetry contest Sau Karod Ka Kavi the year before. His solo set Khayaalbaaz has toured college festivals and comedy rooms across multiple Indian cities. Sood also works as a host, songwriter and creative director, posts performances on his YouTube channel and continues to gig steadily on the live circuit.
