Praveen Kumar is a Chennai-based stand-up comedian and one of the pioneers of Tamil stand-up. He performs in English with strong Tamil flavour, and is known for clean, family-friendly material on marriage, parenting, food and middle-class life. He has clocked more than seventeen hundred live shows, released multiple solo specials including Family Man on Amazon Prime Video and its sequel Family Man Returns, and has been a judge on the Tamil edition of Comicstaan. He tours regularly across India, Singapore, the US and the UK, and remains a go-to headliner for Tamil-speaking audiences worldwide.
