Nishant Suri is a Delhi-based stand-up comedian who took a winding route into comedy through engineering, banking and wedding photography before turning to the stage full-time. He won the first season of Amazon Prime Video's Comicstaan in 2018, after earlier wins at IIT Delhi's comedy contests, Vir Das's Pajamafest and Comedy Central's Chuckle Hunt. Following the show he toured nationally with co-winner Rahul Dua as The Dua-Suri Show, and contributed as a writer and performer on the MX Player political comedy Mere Ek Vote Se Kya Hoga. His material is observational, in English and Hindi, mining everyday middle-class Delhi life.
