Neeti Palta is a Delhi-based stand-up comedian and one of the most established women on the Indian comedy circuit. She came up through advertising, working as a senior art director at JWT, and later served as head writer for Galli Galli Sim Sim, the Indian adaptation of Sesame Street. After winning the RAW Comedy Competition in 2012, she became the first Indian comic to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Her topical, English-language stand-up tackles gender, politics and everyday absurdity, and she runs the long-running Delhi comedy collective Loony Goons.
