Kanan Gill is a Mumbai-based stand-up comedian, writer and actor who first caught the public's attention through Pretentious Movie Reviews, the much-loved YouTube series he made with Biswa Kalyan Rath skewering Bollywood B-movies. A former software engineer from Bengaluru, he transitioned full-time to comedy and went on to release the Prime Video special Keep It Real, the Netflix hour Yours Sincerely, Kanan Gill, and the self-released YouTube special Is This It?. His style leans observational and self-aware, with a strong following across India and the diaspora.
