Dilip Shankar is a stand-up comedian working out of Chennai's growing live-comedy scene. He performs at independent comedy rooms across the city and at South Indian club nights, building short observational sets that draw on Tamil family life, office culture and the quirks of being from the South in a Hindi-led comedy industry. As a featuring-stage comic, he splits his time between weekly open mics, ticketed line-ups and corporate gigs, and shares clips through YouTube and Instagram to grow his audience beyond the room.
