Daniel Fernandes is a Mumbai-born English-language stand-up comedian known for dark, politically charged material and long-form storytelling that takes on subjects most Indian comics avoid, from free speech and capital punishment to mental health and marital rape. After a stint in advertising he turned full-time to stand-up in 2011 and has since toured Asia, Australia, the UK and the Middle East, with festival appearances including Melbourne and Sydney. His specials Shadows and Alive and Vaccinated stream free on his YouTube channel, and he is currently touring his latest hour, Do You Know Who I Am?
