Chocku The Comic, real name Chockalingam, is a Chennai-based stand-up comedian and writer working in Tamil and English, with a Madurai-bred wit that runs through his sets. On stage since 2016, he is one of the earlier voices in the Tanglish comedy wave and is known for clean, family-friendly material that lands across language lines, with bits like his Sri Lanka travel routine becoming audience favourites. He tours shows across India and abroad, co-built the Tamil stand-up project Kutty Stories with comic Ramkumar, posts specials on YouTube and runs his bookings through chockuthecomic.in.
