Aashish Solanki is an Indian stand-up comedian who broke through nationally after winning Season 3 of Amazon Prime Video's Comicstaan in 2022. A former mathematics teacher, he started doing open mics in 2018 and is now part of the wave of Hindi-language comics building large YouTube audiences with clean, family-friendly material. His debut YouTube video Behen Ki Shaadi crossed ten million views, and he followed it up with regular stand-up uploads on the platform. His sets lean on observational storytelling about family weddings, school-teaching days and growing up middle-class in India, and he continues to tour across India's club circuit.
